The host has lived in Southern California his entire life. The host was exposed to his favorite race track, Santa Anita, from childhood while attending with his family and still shares weekend days with his mother and step father to this day. This experience has grown into beyond being just a fan but appreciation for the thoroughbred athlete and how its creation in relation to the athlete's performance can leave a person awe-struck and feeling alive. This phenomenon has enabled the host to feel more and more passionate about the sport of horse racing and as a result loves to share information about the sport with others whenever possible.
